What Do You Do If Your Car Breaks Down
It happened at midnight last night while I was about to exit O'Hare Airport. Car stopped on its own and all sort of error messages on dashboard. So what do you do? Call Land Rover roadside assistance, wait two hours for a tow truck to arrive (pretty shocking) and then snap a pic of your Diver while the car gets pulled onto the platform.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344519458.008444.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1344519475.844744.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1344519501.855857.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1344520013.296801.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1344520035.459830.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Top Gear Speedmaster sighting
Watching this evening's show featuring the James Bond movie cars. Hammond was sporting a 3570.50 Speedy Pro in most of the shots, along with a PO on an orange strap in a few shots. They also talked with the original Stig, doing some stunt driving for the latest film - Skyfall.
Broken Crown Mechanism?? PAM 112
Hi guys, I have a PAM 112 M-series which is about 7/8 years old. No issues, never serviced. I grabbed it yesterday to wear it out and when I start winding it up I noticed that the normal crown winding resistance seemed a lot less than normal. It would just wind and wind and wind but would not start the movement ticking. Obviously I need to take it in to a watchmaker for repair, but I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on what the issue may be (main spring?) and what a repair 'should' cost so that I can have a relatively educated conversation with whoever I decide to service it for me. Also, I'm in Chicago (Bucktown), and would love any repair shop recommendations that you guys have. I recently purchased a GMT Batman from CD Peacock in Skokie so I might try to leverage that relationship for this repair. Thanks!
So I walked into my local dealer....
With the intention of seeing if I could comfortably wear a 47 mm watch. I have been narrowing down which Pam for my next watch and had no plans on buying for a while. As it happens he was getting rid of Panerai to make room for Tudor and threw out a price I couldn't turn down. Walked out with my 1st Panerai!
Next watch..
Hey guys, i recently purchased a new datejust 36, however now I'm itching to get my next watch already and I'm thinking the submariner. I bought the datejust a little over a month ago. Is it too soon to get another?
