New Old Stock-Advice
Hey All,I need some advice on what to offer(trying not to pay full retail) on a NOS Omega Seamaster-300M-wavy dial-.....co-axil.Let me set the story:Yesterday my wife and I went shopping and we went into a jewelry store just to look. My wife bought me a new Rolex GMT-II Black and Blue, so I wasn't in any hurry for another watch....yet.I came across the store's Omega display and in the 300-M/Diver section of their Omega display they had the newer Diver's in one area and three NOS Omega 300-M in the lower section.1. A women's quartz blue-wavy dial...I didn't ask about it.2. A Men's 300-M (I think black dial) wavy dial chronograph...(co-axil?) $4900 for the chronograph3. A men's 300-M black wavy dial, co-axil...(the lady told me co-axil but not master co-axil).........$3900.All brand new. As a matter of fact I know these three watches have been setting there since June-2014. June-2014, was the last time I was in that particular store and they were in there then.I know Omega qui
Omega Speedmaster Broadarrow questions...
I have a 2005 3303 movement. I have had nothing but issues with the watch ever since I got it. A lot of it has to do with the Chrono. After it broke this last time some of the hands came off. I have been dealing with a local repair shop for fixing my issues. What I am a little fuzzy about is how this process works. -I dropped my watch off about 13 weeks ago and was told I should have it back in 8 to 10 weeks. I called him today and he said he would call and find out the status. So my assumption is he has sent this watch off to the manufacturer? or what? Why am I paying him $800 if he is just sending the watch off, I could have done that myself.I am obviously not that educated in the world of watch repair. I have my assumptions but would love some better insight. Should I be concerned? I am unhappy with the amount of time my watch has been gone. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
Las Vegas surprise at last Minute / took my Pam 305
Hello everyone, I just thought I would share my surprise trip to Las Vegas for my family to see Beyonce at the MGM Grand this weekend and more importantly for me to go and shop for watches. Well since it was my birthday this weekend, I told my family that we were all going to an early dinner, but first we had to go pick up my brother at the air port who was here on a lay-over. When we got to the airport, I didn't realize how hard it was to get everyone out of the car to wait for him by the baggage claim (bad cover story) after some yelling, they all agree to wait at starbucks. I had pre-printed the tickets the night before and once in the airport I told them that we were flying to another city to have dinner and that they had to not look at their tickets until we got to the gate. Well the TSA guy almost ruined that, when he asked for everyones ID and tickets, he started to say something about Vegas and I let him in on our little deal.We sat at wolf gang pucks restaurant until ti
16014 lug hole size??
Hi all,I have been having trouble removing the spring bars from the end links of my 16014 when attempting to change straps. I think it may be easier to leave them in the end links of the bracelet and then buy a set of replacement spring bars for the straps I want to use on my DJ.What I am having trouble finding is the size of the spring bar that will fit the lug hole. Would these work from Amazon: a.co/3HywiOc ?Thanks in advance!
