Question about the GMT and Diver bezels
Please bear with me, I've never owned a watch with a rotating bezel before.I've searched and read a number of threads about loose bezels, wobbly bezels, bezels that pop off easily, bezels that are misaligned, bezels that spin too easily and bezels with play in them. So, let me be clear on what I have noticed with my new Seamaster GMT. First, here is what seems to be right with the bezel:It does not want to pop off;It's not misaligned;It's not loose nor does it spin easily;It clicks sharply as it is rotated;It does not wobble;It does not seem to want to lift up or pull away from the case easily;It seems to fit tightly on the case;It seems perfect except as noted below.So, here's what I've discovered. With the 24:00 hr bezel marker set exactly at 12 o'clock and holding the case in my left hand, if I place the tip of my right index finger at the 24:00 hr marker and tip of my right thumb at the 12:00 hr marker and apply pressure fore and aft, the bezel moves very, very slightly fore and

Getting a Patek, too many choices
Seeking to fill out my third slot on my watchbox. After nights of some research, i decided to probably buying a Patek. There are way too many choices from gold, white gold to SS, and its really hard to make decision. I mean they all beautiful and gorgeous. As i decided and after gain permission from my wife, i am allowed to get one Patek. ( Of course i told her only one ) My Patek watch requirement as below.- 39-41mm- Prefer gold, SS will do just fine- Budget 30k to 40k- Not a fan of Nautilus- Wearing casual most the time- Used or New doesn't matter- Doesn't like Chronograph( Sorry not a fan of Daytona )Buying a Patek is way harder than a Rolex. Two tone or not to two tone
I bought my Zblue last May and got 18% off. I know those days are long gone. I want a 116622 Rhodium dial but im guessing my AD may only give out 10% on it but the TT 116621 I can get 20% off. This only leaves about 1k difference in the final price for me on upgrading to the TT. The question is- Does the TT take a larger hit on the resale market say 8-10 years down the road as compared to a SS of the same model? I heard that TT models are harder to sell and the return when selling isn't as high. Any basis to this?
