Hands-On: The Moser Perpetual Calendar Concept Limited Edition In Steel (Live Pics, Pricing)
I often think about what type of watch I would wear if limited to only modern watches, and only independently-held manufactures (isn't that how we all spend our nights?). A watch I saw at Baselworld 2016 may have answered the question, or at least put a new one in the running.H. Moser continues to produce excellent and innovative timepieces for collectors that do not, necessarily, get the recognition they deserve. The landmark piece from Moser is certainly the Endeavour perpetual calendar, which we reviewed here, but they've long been experimenting with making the already simple perpetual calendar ever more simple with the concept watches seen here. The Concept Perpetual calendar removes all branding from the dial side, as well as the sub-seconds and power-reserve indicator. Talking Watches: With Eric Ku
Eric Ku is one of the good guys. Actually, he's one of the best guys. Eric is a long-time vintage Rolex dealer of the highest order. He's the type of guy who can find you the $1,000,000 Albino 6263, the type of guy who can make a watch good with a simple blessing. Eric Ku is the type of guy who was talking about "RCO" Daytonas three years ago. Eric is the owner of VintageRolexForum, and dealer of watches at 10PastTen, but why he's here today in this series of videos about collectors has nothing to do with his profession, or even Rolex at all. No, Eric Ku, like Jean-Claude Biver, is a true lover of all watches, vintage and new, independent or not. Today we'll be running through some of his favorites, and show you the Submariner that started it all. This is Talking Watches with Eric Ku. 1959 LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm 1 OF 53 Eric's 1959 Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm is nothing short of amazing. His watch, which retains all original comp

Don't hear much about the 514/515. Is there a reason why these receive so little attention. I find them quite striking
