Introduction + new Planet Ocean Master Chronometer
Hi, I've been around for quite a few weeks now and never introduced myself yet.I'm from Holland and bought my first mechanical watch exactly 10 years ago: the Seamaster Professional Chrono.Now I thought it is finally time to give my Seamaster a worthy brother, so I can change between watches.I always liked the Planet Ocean and when a new version was announced, I read all the news and reviews I could find.In about 14 months I'm turning 40, but I just could not wait any longer ;)Last Thursday was the big day. Not only did the Planet Ocean came in, but also my grilfriend's Breitling Colt Lady.We celebrated that moment with a bottle of champagne!Thanks for all the info I could find on this forum. SMP, blue or black?
Hi, I am planning to buy an Omega, SMP co-axial is one of my favorites. I have some questions and need your advice ^^ I can't decide Black or Blue SMP. Black: I like this color more, it can be casual or formal. Blue: This color is more classic, an icon color. But Blue seems casual, not as versatile as Black. Questions are: 1. Whether James Bond ever wear Black SMP? Or Bond only wears Blue? 2. The bracelet of SMP is without fine adjustment. Would this bracelet fit your wrist without any difficulties, by using the half link? A few SMP owners are complaining about the bracelets are either too loose or too tight, even using the half link. 3. Which color your suggest? I tend to choose Black, but I also think Blue is good. :P Sorry for so many questions. For your reference, I attach a pic as above. The left two are what I am considering. It is borrowed. I am quite headache about these two colors. I really need your advice. ^^

The right strap size? 22 or 24 mm
I will be receiving my first Panerai tomorrow and I am starting to look at straps.The Panerai website indicate a 22/24mm straps size for the 233. I am an industrial designer, and 2mm difference in my world is a lot.Which size fits better the 22 or 24mm?My first instinct is to go with 24mm. But I would like to know what you guys think first.Cheers.
