Diver vs SD 126600
We do you guys think? I guess their price are close enough?
My new pride and joy
Here is my beautiful RG ROC 26320. She is a breath-taking piece and though I've taken some pretty good pics in real life she is even more stunning. I love the silver dial of the 15400 but the RG version has a flatter white dial so the silver subdials on the ROC give that extra silver flourish I like and mixed with the gold its a devastating combination. The strap is light and contours around my wrist nicely and the watch is actually quite nice and heavy for a strap piece.I love the combination of white, gold and brown but I think if you like the black dial then the bracelet is the best way to go. Hope you enjoy the pics
What is the correct bracelet for my 1969 Speedmaster?
Is it a 1039 or would it be the 1171 model? Im saving for one and want to get the correct one. The 1171 seems similar to the current model bracelet, whereas the 1039 is clearly different in all aspects. Thanks in advance!
Thoughts on the 5711 in Rose Gold
I know that for some the idea of a gold Nautilus is sacrilege .. I understand why, but for me I love the idea of a Patek in gold and more over, I want a 5711 very badly, but I don't want to wait for years for an SS... I can get a new Rose Gold from an authorized dealer for $51000, which for me is a lot more palatable than paying $35000 for a gray market watch that is made of SS... I'm not buying the watch as an investment but I am curious if you expert members feel the long term value / resale of a 5711/1R would be poor? Sure it will not be as good as the SS, but will it be poor? The watch looks amazing and has a heft that the SS model doesn't... I especially love the brown dial..Thoughts?
Certificate Card Invalid
Hi everyone, It has been about 1.5 years I bought my explorer ii V series 16570 from its first owner. So it has the name of the first owner written on it. Yesterday I wanted to find a way to get rid of that name on the card and write mine instead. Since it was written with permanent marker I thought it would be easy to delete it with acetone. But after a very little attempt it has been worn of and I saw it was typed invalid under the sticker. Then, I read on some forums that this is one way of protection Rolex does for not to transfer the warranty of the watch to second or later users..So, my question is, is the certificate invalid from now on? If yes, what can I do?Thanks everyone..
