The Complete Guide To The Patek Philippe Reference 3417 Amagnetic
One of the most interesting watches made by Patek Philippe during the middle of last century are those that we can call "Amagnetic." These rare references feature additional inner case backs, and in some cases, anti-magnetic escapement components such as solid gold or beryllium to ensure the timekeeping was not affected by any magnetism in close proximity to the watch. Now you might be thinking "hey, that's just like the Rolex Milgauss!" and you're right. It's also a lot like IWC's Ingenieur, and JLC's Geophysic. Couldn't resist.. 5712
A friend of a friend sourced me a 5712 from a PP dealer in US.Popped over this weekend to collect. Amazing watch. First PP, sold the GMT BLNR, PAM312 as part funding.Only left with the PP5712, Rolex Deepsea Deepblue and JLC Grande Reverso GMT.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dial size versus watch case size
I tried to look this up from past posts but didn't find an answer is it true that the dial size of the DD2 and the dial size of the DD40 Are actually the same exact size?In other words interchangeable with each other's cases? So the 39 mm Rolex DD masterpieces are probably the same size dial as the 36Day date but just with the 39 mm case?
