Buying a used PP without box or papers?
Hello all,I have an opportunity to buy a 5712 1a without box or papers. Any advice on the following things:How much should this effect the price?Can I check with Patek about the serial number?Will any boutique or service center be able to verify it's authenticity?Thanks!-Mathew

What time does your moonphase change over?
Hey all,Just curious what model of Patek you have and what time does your moonphase click over at?The reason I ask is, a friend of mine has a 5726 which switches over in the mid morning, while my 5712 switches over around 10pm in the evening. White Gold Rolex VS SS Patek. What route would you go?
Hey all.Hope everyone is having a nice dayI will try to keep this as short as possible. But would like to explain so I can get opinions accordingly.I specifically did not want to post this on the Rolex section, as I am almost certain that most would lean towards the PM Rolex.I am going to assume that before heading towards a Patek, most guys over here currently do or at some point owned, or at least tried on / considered a PM Rolex.I currently own a SS Rolex which ticks most boxes.Durability, versatility, fun factor, etc.I considered for a while to add a few more smaller pieces gradually. The rolex Hulk, followed by the Daytona, etc.I later kept seeing these watches more and more frequently amongst friends and in the wild. Not saying that I don't want to buy it because of this, but I would definitely rather buy something more special. First of all, I'd like to give a huge thank you to the whole forum who was so helpful in my process of learning the way of the P, picking the perfect first P for me, and then the inevitable accessorizing!I've been loving my 233 for the last several months, and to say its a versitile watch is a huge understatement. Admittedly, I might have gone a bit overboard in the strap department, but its all personal preference at the end of the day and they all just wear so differently and give the watch a new feel every day.Without further ado, here's the crew!
