MB&F MusicMachine By Reuge Hands-On: The $13,000 Music Box
Earlier in 2013,?MB&F announced its first non-watch item, the MusicMachine produced in collaboration with the last remaining music box maker in Switzerland, Reuge. Anyone who has been around the watch circuit knows about Reuge because their products often appear at watch trade shows and in some high-end watch stores. Together with Reuge, MB&F released a space-themed music box (without the actual box) that played such classic romantic songs such as the theme from Star Wars (by John Williams) and Smoke on the Water (by Deep Purple). I know I get teary-eyed with nostalgia when I hear those.watches-dealer debuted the MB&F MusicMachine here in April. It was rather surprising actually since it was not only unexpected but also outside their normal product release schedule. It was a sort of "extra" product that came out of nowhere. Introducing: The New Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5mm Auto
Omega has released a new addition to the Seamaster Ocean Planet Collection �C the new 43.5 mm Auto. This brightly colored watch features the chronometer caliber 8900 with METAS certification. 1 OF 1 This Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm chronometer is made of titanium and is water resistant to 600 m (2,000 ft) and features the caliber 8900 movement with METAS certification (if you didn't notice all the new Planet Ocean Collections are receiving the new METAS Certification). The most interesting part about this colorful watch are the materials used. The 43.5 mm watch itself is made of titanium with gray silicon nitride rubber bezel insert with Omega LiquidMetal for the orange minute-scale. It is also available in stainless steel with black ceramic and rubber bezel.  The watch is fitted with a metal bracelet or leather strap with rubber lining. Price is CHF 5,700. Rolex 18038 ��normal�� black dial premium?
Hey all,I'm wondering, is there something special about a Rolex Day Date 18038 with a normal black dial with stick markers ? There's one going on ebay now which seems to be selling at a premium compared to those in champagne dials. Currently at $6400 bid. The champagne ones are around the 5k mark. Hmm. Am I missing something?
