AP Dealer Question
I recently obtained and AP RO Safari. I am contemplating a bracelet. I live in Washington State and there are no AP dealers here. The dealers I am loyal to such as Wixon Jewelers in Minneapolis carry pretty much everything but AP. Any input into a dealer I should call to purchase some accessories would be most appreciated.
Breitling Navitimer 1461 (52 week perpetual calendar)
Hi all experts. Recently came across a possible acquisition. Could someone tell me a little more about these watches? Looks to be limited editions. Are these watches more desirable then the regular navitimers? Anything that I need to watch out for? Due to its complication, I am going to assume that it require more money to service. How durable are the movement of Breitlings? Thanks for any advices ahead of time. I am a total newbie to Breitling.
Bezel value on vintage diver
Ok this isn't a Rolex but the forums collective vintage expertise would be greatly appreciated.I ran across a beautiful 66 Seamaster 300 from a reputable seller that is all original minus a service bezel. I know that much of a vintage watch's value is in the dial, but original inserts can be expensive - especially on this 300 that seems to be rarer than its Rolex counterpart.Honestly the service bezel doesn't bother me since it's the lug design, sword hands, simple no-date dial, and patina that attract me to this model, but I do know the service bezel will effect value. How much does this affect value? $1000? $2000? $3000?This is not a matter of wearing what you like, but rather of paying an honest price. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and pic is from the seller.
Subs & Flowers...
Hiya folks! While vacationing in Bali recently I had a chance to fool around with my Subs, a hibiscus & a frangipani that was in the hotel pool (getting in touch with my feminine side lol! )... For those interested, the bronzo was on a black sharkie, depth gauge was on an old ammo, the DSSD was (double-wristed) on my right hand, the camera is a Sony RX100 inside an (inexpensive) Meike underwater housing, and most of the pics were actually taken by my 14 year old son! (wearing my 193) Thanks for looking!!
