Introducing: The A. Lange & S?hne Saxonia Thin
The Saxonia Thin, part of the iconic A. Lange & Söhne line that has already seen the introduction of the new Saxonia Moon Phase at SIHH 2016, is now being re-released with slight changes to the dial. 1 OF 4 The case measures at 40 mm and 5.9 mm thick and is available in white or pink gold. It features the same L093.1 manual winding movement (which is only 2.9 mm thick). One noticeable change to the dial is the removal of the dots at the end of each index – and the indexes have also been elongated. 2 OF 43 OF 4 The new A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin is priced at $24,500 in white or pink gold. For more information, please visit the A. Lange & Söhne website here. 4 OF 4 Follow HODINKEE's live SIHH 2016 updates here, and in our mobile app, and you can read all SIHH stories here.

Ultimate luxury sports watch?
I didn't really know in what section to post this, so decided to post here, what are the ultimate sport watch brands? There's Rolex of course but for me it's not a luxury brand, it's a middle high end brand, then there's Richard Mille, they could be considered the ultimate sport pieces but only one thing bothers me with them is the low WR, for me a sports watch should have at least 100m WR, apart their diver models the WR is 30m as I understand, at the same time even if the WR was 200m would you really go for a swim with a 100K or more watch? I think I would not. Then there's the ROO line, multiple choice of metals, sizes, 42 and 44mm, for me the best are clearly the ones with ceramic or cermet bezel, the unscratchable factor is for me very, very important, I got the full ceramic diver because I find it hot looking and the AP ceramic seems to be up to taking a beating and resisting it, I wouldn't have any problem swimming or doing sports with it, something I wouldn't do with my PP 5712,
Advice welcome... 372 - 587 - 422????
I'm leaning toward the 587 because they seem to be selling right around retail and I'm particularly drawn to the Marina Militare style but 372's are going for extremely appealing prices by comparison and the crown guard speaks to me a bit as well. The 422 would allow for sight of the second hands a bit more complex style though of course and its pricing is certainly a middle ground.... In my shoes which would you fine gentlemen pick as your only Panerai in the watch collection? I'm not a particularly dressed up individual on a daily basis I should say and my stature is that of a 6' Bodybuilder so none of them would be particularly large looking on me. Any guidance/suggestions are much appreciated - thanks for looking!
