Seagull 1963 42mm Panda Dial Review
The original reissue of the Seagull 1963 was and still is a big success. Great looks, an intriguing history and a price no one could scoff at ensured this. We took an in-depth look at the original 38mm version some months ago and were charmed by it's unique vintage character. The gold-tone dial, gold applied markers and blued-steel hands gave it a unique character that while stemming from military design had an elegance that made it versatile and altogether stylish. And of course, the ST19 manual column wheel chronograph movement inside gave it a mechanical prowess that sealed the deal. Since we already covered it once, I don't plan on rewriting the story of the 1963 here, so take a look at the first article to get some background. To follow up the success of the original, Seagull has released a new series of larger, 42mm versions. Additionally, they added 2 new color variations to add yet another layer of options. While the larger size was likely a response to the general trend for wat
First time AP owner with some questions.
I picked up a 15400 about 2 weeks ago off of a member here and and it's an amazing watch but i can't find an answer to two questions i have about noises it making. 1. When moved around it sounds like it is making a noise as if it is winding, I figured that was normal as you can see inside the caseback but have never noticed it on any of my rolex watches. 2. When moved around with a little more force as if jogging or reaching fast for something it makes a different noise as if something is loose and shaking around. It also runs about +5-+6 seconds fast a day but that is not a problem for me. I'm hoping they are just normal sounds as i do not want to send it in to get warranty work already. Thanks for any advice.
What is this?
Anyone got a clue?
Watch is loose on wrist all of sudden
Hey all. First post but have lurked for a while. I have a Black Sub with no date. It's got the ceramic bezel with the folding safety clasp. My wife bought it for me as a gift a couple of years ago while she was in Geneva. I've worn it everyday ever since. Love it. So yesterday I noticed the watch is much looser on my wrist. I can spin it around on my wrist. At first I thought it was in my head but it's been driving me nuts all day today. I went so far as to weigh myself to see if maybe in lost weight. Nope. Steady at 192 pounds. It seems like it's about a half link looser. I remembered that while hunging my wife the day before yesterday, I heard a snap from my watch. Like the clasp engaged. Thought nothing of it but now I think maybe the clasp adjustment moved. Is it possible that the clasp adjustment moved? Is this easy to adjust back? Can you direct me to online instructions how to? Thanks for the help. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
