omega deployant option - watch obsession version?
anyone try the omega-style deployant by watch obsession?like other knockoffs (altho they state omega style so i guess it's technically not a knockoff), the build quality is usually faulty around the enclosure itself, not very crisp/firm click of the enclosure. as well as buttons too-easily release the deployant, and doesn't close fully flush with the rest of the body.i've certainly had a few bad experiences with such fakes.i asked watch obsession for additional photos, and they were kind enough to send me a few shots (very quick response, btw!).what do u think?any enthusiasts here have had good experience with this particular model?if high quality, the price is too good to give up (compared to OEM).

OK I will call these PPPs.. but in the last 24 or 48 hours seems like a lot of reports of Patek failures or problems.. Seems like a new pattern. What is happening here.. Just a chance set of issues at the same time.. ?

GMTc TT, or 16710 Pepsi?
I have a SUBc date and I love it. I have been looking at the GMTc TT for a while and it's been growing on me although I wasn't a big fan of TT for a while. I have tried the full gold and it was just too much for my liking. It also wouldn't make a good daily wearer. The 16710 is also lovely. I am just having trouble justifying paying almost the same price as a new tt GMTc. While having the old clasp. I have darker skin and noticed the TT looks nice on my skin. Rolex for the active individual?
Hi TRF, first post here! I֪ looking to pick up a new (to me) Rolex. I have a 6542 that my dad�� dad gifted to him when he graduated from the Air Force and I have an AP 15202. Both watches I feel are too fragile for what I want and neither do I wear all day every day. I purchased an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean back in 09 as my first, nice watch and I��e thrown everything at it: surfing, snowboarding, dirt bike rides, backpacking, etc. and the watch still looks great and keeps great time without a service. However, I֪ looking to upgrade the Omega to a Rolex.I֪ familiar with the tried and tested criteria Rolex watches go through, but I֪ curious when they started testing the watches beyond the limits the watches would ever see. I��e narrowed my choices down to a Submariner or a Sea Dweller (40mm). I֪ looking for this new watch go go everywhere with me to get knocked around and build its own character. How far back I should narrow my selection to, knowing the watch has gone through the gamut
