Omega takes the look of classic Omega timepieces
Omega takes the look of classic Omega timepieces and combines with the modern of the Speedmaster case look. It is an interesting drop-down list box. You also get the logo style vintage Omega red. The needle of the hours arrow blend well with the needle of the minutes dagger and the old style numerals. The tachometer bezel complements the Speedmaster character. The back of the watch probably has some etching on the theme of the Olympic Games. The size is probably about 42 mm wide and the watch will be steel. Inside of the watch is Omega co-axial 3888 calibre automatic movement - which is likely to certified chronometer. Functions more or less include a 12-hour chronograph and day date calendar. A very cool and functional design perfectly awaken our thoughts of Omega and the Olympic Games. Only thing they have left was the logo of Olympic rings as the counterweight on the chronograph seconds hand - but that he would have obstructed the dial too. Price will be available early next year of
Not many Breitling fans here?
Seems like Breitling isn't very popular on this forum. I visit other places and it gets more attention. I know this is a Rolex forum but just the same I wear more than just Rolex.Unfortunately my Colt is getting serviced and my new Chronomat should be here this week so no pictures for the moment.I like Breitling how about you?
Speedmaster on leather strap
Put the Speedy on a leather strap for the Thanksgiving holidays. Let me know what you think.
Less Formal PP for a younger guy
Hi PP forum,I have been looking a while at PPs. I've always loved the Calatrava, but I'm still in my mid/late 20s and the most formal I ever dress is chinos & a dress shirt, never a suit, so I think the model would not really suit me that well. I'm also quite big (used to do a lot of weight lifting when I was younger) so I need something which won't look dainty of my wrist/arm.I live a couple of hours from London where all the PP dealers are, so I need to have a few models lined up before I go there so I can make sure they have stock of everything I want to try.I currently own:- YG Rolex GMTIIC- Navy AP Royal Oak Offshore- Steel & WG DateJust IIAs such I am looking for something a bit more dressy & smart, a leather strap would be nice. But still something that is a little chunkier and will suit a casual dressing younger guy going out to a nice dinner, etc.It won't be my daily, any gold or platinum is fine, I can't go for anything over 30k ($50k) brand new list price. Any o
IWC BP vs PAM 233
Hi TRF,I am blessed to have an opportunity to acquire another piece. I am on the fence between acquiring the 2016 IWC Big Pilot (5009 with the number 9) or PAM 233 (am/pm). Here are my current humble collection to give you an idea of what I currently have: Black face SS Daytona, Yachtmaster, SubC, PAM 425 and PAM 557. I love both of them equally and acquiring both is not an option. Thanks TRF for your invaluable inputs.
