Introducing: The Grandmaster Chime Reference 6300G C The Most Complicated Patek, Now In White Gold
This, I have to admit, came as a shock. It came as a shock to me, and every other single person with whom I spoke that I'd consider knowledgeable about collecting Patek Philippe. The Grandmaster Chime – reference 5175 – the most complicated Patek wristwatch ever made, of which there were only seven pieces made – six for the best clients in the world, one for the museum – has returned. It has a new reference, in a new case material, and without all that incredibly ornate engraving, but it's back. First, have a look below at what makes this watch so special. The price for the Grandmaster Chime? Yup, $2.5 million, and we're told there was a list a mile long to get it – the six collectors that received it had surely been hand selected by the Sterns for their appreciation of, and long-term commitment to, the brand. went to buy a new rolex today...but have a question
i went to mayors today to buy a brand new ladies datejust..but when i asked about the series letter i was told that this was not important at all...the salesperson said there was no way to know it without taking the band off but that i shouldnt be worried about it and that a rolex representative would tell me the same thing...is this true? should i not be concerned with what it is if the watch is brand new? thanks
Straps, alligator or crocodile ?
Does somebody has the answer , does patek use croc or alligator ?I'm pretty sure it won't be Cayman I believe there are a few different sorts of crocodile and only 1 alligator Some croc species are more expensive and better than alligator, others are a bit lessOnly thing I know for sure is that most don't know the difference, even if you want to buy an expensive wallet most salesperson or shop owners don't know the difference
Is this a valid Datejust combination?
Hi there,I'm a newbite and hoping those with experience can help me verify what is and is not a valid Datejust combination.I am looking for a Datejust, 31mm, Steel and White Gold, Fluted, Roman, with a SILVER DIAL.I've been presented this configuration as an option at an AD and have seen it for sale online, but I can't build it as a configuration on rolex; I only see a RHODIUM dial as an option. Can anybody clarify why I'm seeing this discrepancy?Thank you!
