This is really interesting because most watch brands would just go nuts with a wildly designed watch and marketing to tell the world about even the slightest movement improvement. This is actually quite a cool thing from Eterna. You should also know that Eterna actually started the major watch movement maker ETA before it was later acquired by the Swatch Group.Here, the new technology is placed in the demure Eterna men's Madison watch. The new technology is called the Eterna Spherodrive and is a new type of mainspring barrel. That is the part of the mechanical watch the holds the mainspring, which is where all the power comes from. The mainspring is wound manually or via an automatic rotor. As the spring unwinds in a regulated manner, the power it released is used to power a mechanical watch. Rolex DJ vs AP ROO scratches?
Hi Guys,I know that scracthes add character to our watches, we need to enjoy wearing them without worrying about scratches, etc etc etc... But...I have a 6 months old Rolex DJ and 3 weeks old AP ROO. I wear them quite regularly. However problem is my Rolex doesnt have a single tiniest scracth. Compared to my ROO which now has a few tiny hairline scratches - which are only visible under certain angle.Wonder if ROO's do scracth easily? Do you guys find the same issue with your ROO's? Is Rolex known to be more durable or scratch-proof compared to APs?I do wear shirts with cufflinks, and this is the only thing that i'd suspect scratching my ROO - as i never bump/drop them. But yet again, not the case with my Rolex...Thanks!
What would you choose?
This would be AP ROO RG 42mm 25940 vs PP 5711/1a.both sings to me so loudly and beautifully, I do not know what to choose...if i have the chance and $$ lol
