Glycine Incursore II & III Watches
The popular Incursore collection from Glycine returns with a model II and model III. Relatively inexpensive, these watches comes with a few dial styles and with automatic or manually wound movements. Actually, the price of the pieces with a manually wound Unitas 6498 movement is the same as the watch with an automatic ETA 2824. So why would someone opt for a manually wound movement. Well, I guess some people prefer itbut really the only difference is a central seconds hand (in the automatic) versus a subsidiary seconds dial in the manually wound version. Oh, and the view through the watch's exhibition caseback is gonna be different. The Glycine Incursore II model (ref. 3901)? is that with the manually wound movement, and the III (ref. 3900) has the automatic. Each comes in a 44mm wide steel case (100 meters water resistant) with an available metal bracelet or thick leather strap. Each watch has a few dial options. A "standard" minimalistic model with a mix of Arabic and baton hour marke
Shark Mesh on my Seamster Sword Hands
I picked up my new Omega shark mesh bracelet today for my Seamaster Sword Hands. The first thing that struck me is that the clasp is seriously chunky. It can't be anything but chunky considering it was, I believe, originally designed for serious professional use on the Ploprof. Its also a lovely piece of engineering, great quality with smooth operation on the extendable clasp. One gets used to the size after a while but it looks like it will be a formidable scratch magnet! The mesh is beautiful to look at. Again, its quite thick and elaborately constructed. The overall appearance is very masculine but also sophisticated. It does not look blingy to my eyes. The truly surprising fact is that this bracelet is one of the most comfortable I have worn (coming only second to my Rolex Jubilee bracelet in the comfort and ease of use stakes).Overall this is a beautiful bracelet and I'm very happy with it. Its going to stay on my Seamaster and its a good match with the watch. Yes, the clasp is huge
How's it even possible ?
Two years ago I registered my name for the 5711 Nautilus (waiting list) and yesterday when I called them (local AD) just to know the status I was told that they didn't receive the watch since 2014.I know its a plain lie.Just want to know what you guys think of it ?
First Panerai?
Hi Guys. I am considering my first Panerai. What do you guys think of the new 512? I tried it on and looks nice. I wanted a in-house movement as well. I have a small wrist so the largest I can wear is is 44mm.
Daytona lugs
Quick question to you all Daytona owners. Why are the Daytona lugs shiny as compared to other sports models which has a brushed finish. Thanks.
