5711 vs 15202 based on my current line up.
Hey guys,Yes it is this repetitive thread once again, and I apologise for it.I have posted it on the Patek forum, and notice the 5711 outnumbering the AP jumbo, however I would like to see how biased it was, considering it was the PP forum.I currently own a SS Rolex for an everyday use, a speedy that was given to me as a gift, and a Reverso as my dress watch.I find the PP and AP both to be very versatile watches, and would be wearing them dressed up and down.I like the dial of the PP much more, but the bracelet and presence of the AP a little more. The 5711 also is attractive since it is a Patek, if that makes any sense.I really appreciate everyone's opinion.Have a nice day.Edit. Damn, was meant to have a Poll here Any way to add it now?
BLNR for 15400?
Hi all! Looking for a little guidance and opinion here. Was recently in Miami this past week, and found my way over to the Bal Harbour Shops to check out the AP, IWC, FP Journe and Tourneau boutiques. I've always been a Rolex guy, and really have only been a 1 or 2 watch-at-any-given time guy too. I just like the simplicity; so right now I have a Speedy on NATO and a GMT BLNR that I just picked up.Now, on to the situation: never did I think that an AP would call to me like the 15400 did in the boutique. I tried it on in black and white, as well as the 15202 in white. I didn't love, the 15202, surprisingly. I thought I would, but since I'm a bigger, more muscular guy with big 7 wrists, it looked too small. Once I put on the 15400 it sang to me though - the size, the geometric shape, the extremely comfortable bracelet, the display back, the 60 hr reserve, etc. When I got back home, I called my local AD to get some numbers on the BLNR trade in for a 15400, and he quoted me $6.5k out of p
Speedmaster 3570.50 Half Link?
Does anyone know if the new Speedmaster Pros with bracelet 1998/849 come with a half link?I received mine new from an AD and did not see a half link. My other Omega came with one. Fr. John, do you happen to know? Thanks!
Leather strap size doubt
Hi guysI have to buy online a tan leather strap for my Panerai 111 44 mm and I don't understand the size I have to ask for. For example I saw this add: 100% authentic Panerai OEM Brown Calf Strap 44MM 115/95 24/22'This is good? The 111 comes with buckle not with deployant.Thanks.
