SIHH Preview: Piaget Unveils its First Minute Repeater
Piaget has announced the launch of its first minute repeater timepiece, set to debut at next month’s SIHH watch fair in Geneva. In the brand’s tradition of historically thin watches and mechanical movements, the new watch sets another record for slenderness in its category: only 4.8 mm thick for the caliber and only 9.4 mm for the case.The Emperador Coussin Automatic Minute Repeater was crafted entirely in-house, with the movement, Caliber 1290P,?developed, produced, decorated and assembled at the Piaget manufacture La C?te-aux-F��es and the case made at the brand’s facility in Plan-les-Ouates. This minute repeater movement represents the fourth major complication developed by Piaget, which over the past 14 years has created 35 in-house movements, including 11 comprising major complications. Best place to locate an 806 Navi?
Would love to find a 1st series AOPA/black dial Navitimer in great shape. 4 digit Sub prices are crazy even with the sheer numbers there are I've decided to focus on the Breitling. According to the literature posted it's going to be from '55-'63 for Navi or a Cosmo '63-'64 with bead bezel and panda dials. I'd like to wear it!Anyone care to share resources? Speedmaster Box??
Long time reader, first time poster. I have a question about Speedmaster boxes. I just purchased a pre-owned Speedmaster with the panda dial and it did not come with the box. I'm trying to purchase a replacement but I don't know if it originally came in Omega's red box or the 'wooden' box or something else.Any help would be appreciated. The model is the Speedmaster date-day-date/date-chronograph 323.30.40.40.04.001.
