I don't live near an authorized dealer and was wondering if you would trust someone else with it or if they even could. Hey, Been lurking here for a long time. The time is getting close to the purchase of my first Panerai! I can't wait!! I've decided I love the pam111, although I do love the magnified date. I have a budget of 6k I might me able to sneak a little higher depending on the wife :big grin: Any thoughts, tips, tricks, and info. would be greatly appreciated.I'll be buying in the NY or Atlanta area. Do you remember when buying a SS watch from AD was not the best route?
Two or three years ago, buying a SS watch from an AD at retail was for people not 'in the know'. We could easily get 20% discount buying from a trusted seller. Now I don't even visit their sites anymore. If I do it's only to check out the crazy prices. Do you think those good days are gone?

Looking for some counsel.Looking to purchase a 2d hand Rolex Two Tone Blue Submariner. I am considering the 16613 v 116613 with yellow and gold bracelet. I presume the the 6 digit is newer than the 5 digit, but what (if any) are the mechanical or design differences.Thoughts on fair pricing and location to purchase are appreciated.
