Linde Werdelin Land Instrument Watch: Personal Sensorship
Recently, watches-dealerwatches-dealer covered the Nokia Eco Sensor Concept, a conceptual device brimming with sensors, connectivity and functionality. The highlight of the Nokia Eco Sensor was it's ability to monitor one's surroundings and convert that information into something relevant to the wearer's health (i.e. "warning high levels of carbon dioxide detected!"). The Nokia Eco Sensor though very interesting, was still just a concept, as there was no working model. The Linde Werdelin Land Instrument is no mere concept, and it delivers a heap of promised features. The Linde Werdelin Land Instrument is part of Linde Werdelin's Biformeter (silly to pronounce) line of products, and is designed for skiing and cold weather mountain climbing and exploration. Excursions which scale tall cold environs require a good deal of environmental measuring to ensure human survivability. In extremely cold temperature, body parts can freeze in moments when exposed to the air. Further, one must monitor
Lm-Tec V6 Review
Lm-Tec is a brand we've been following since we first started w&w. Their mix of bold design, moderate prices and focus on listening to their customer’s desires (they are very active on forums, regularly taking comments and criticism from members regarding design) makes them a unique brand. In their ever growing line of mechanical and quartz watches you wont find any direct clones of larger luxury brands, but rather a refreshing array of distinct designs that takes hints from here and there. Previously, we've reviewed their M33 chronograph, a phantom style quartz that is solid as a rock, and two of their higher end mechanical watches, the Combat B16 and Super B2, both of which left a lasting impression. Now, we are taking a look at one of their newest watches, the V6.Case:? Any good AP parts sources out there?
I'm looking to buy a BR.0944.001.ST bracelet for my early A-Series 5402 Royal Oak. AP service has them but was hoping to find a slightly used one or one from an indie seller so I don't have to pay retail. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
My mind is set, now where to get it?
So my mind is set on this seamaster 300m diver and I heard Omega is going boutique only, so the chance of getting good discount watches from either AD or grey is getting smaller as times go by. Therefore I have to act fast.So where would be a good place to get this watch? I would prefer AD if they can compete with grey's price. However, if I can get a bargain from grey seller, i wouldn't really mind.Btw, is this model still being produced? style number: 212.30.41.20.01.002Any input is greatly appreciated !
Anyone own both the 372 AND the 422?
Just thinking that whenever my 372 goes in for service I might pick up a new watch. I had a hard time deciding between the 372 and 422 initially with the 372 winning out. But is it crazy to own both at the same time since they are both similar?
