Introducing The Nomos True Blue Zurich Weltzeit, A Favorite Receives A New Dial, And In-House Escapement
You would be hard-pressed to find a more somber blue on the color palette, but that’s just how we like our Bauhaus – subdued and straightforward. The new True Blue Zurich Weltzeit is NOMOS’ chic take on its exquisite GMT that made headlines a few years back (check out this old-skool Week on the Wrist) and a recent appearance at HODINKEE’S event to welcome NOMOS to the States earlier this summer. Let’s dive right in.It’s unlikely for a HODINKEE reader to be unfamiliar with NOMOS, but just in case you haven’t had the privilege of being introduced to the younger German – here’s a quick preface. NOMOS Glashütte was born in '91 in the little town of Glashütte, Germany. If that name sounds familiar, that's because it’s also the birthplace of A. Lange & Söhne, the house that pioneered the three-quarter plate. Nivarox was patented here, and clearly, pedigree is contagious in this environment. 2 OF 3
Bring a Loupe: Completely Fake Patek Philippe 1463 In Steel On eBay For Over $25,000 C Here's Ho
Fake watches are scary and plentiful, great original watches are beautiful but scarce – this is why we keep you up to speed in our weekly edition of Bring A Loupe. However, a weekly column isn't enough to flag all the offenders and we see countless bad watches sell each week. Sometimes, however, we see one that is so offensive, and in this case, so expensive, that we just have to dedicate an entire story to it here. A watch listed right here on eBay is supposed to be a rare Patek Philippe. It is, of course, not at all a Patek Philippe, but that doesn't prevent it from having a price of over $18,000 right now, with two more days to go.I will not only expose the parts that make this fake the worst buy you could ever make, but also the general attitude that I recommend having when hunting for a watch. My motto: only the paranoid make good collectors. When It Is Too Good To Be True Finding an amazing watch for a bargain is like looking for water in the desert: th
RO/ROO scratches - inevitable?
Hi fellas,I know there are tonnes of threads of lads complaining how the polished parts of RO's and ROO's are 'scratch magnets' but I did not know it was that bad (although I own AP's :s)Got a brand new ROO 42mm ss recently and I have been wearing very very carefully, no contact with anything etc, but there seems to be some 'hair lines' on the bezel - is it possible that this could have happened due to my clothing? I know I havent banged it anywhere etc.AP's are so gorgeous but so fragile in this sense :s
I don't do incoming unless I think they are of interest but pics to follow next week

Help a Panerai novice! 526 info
Can someone fill me in on the 526 please. I can't find one anywhere - is it because deliveries haven't started or it has already sold out? Forgive the basic questions but I am not up to speed on it at all. TIA.
