Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso 1931 Rouge
Since its launch in 1931, the Reverso has appeared in many forms, from sporting to jewellery to grand complications. Reversos have housed over 50 in-house calibers, and hundreds of dials. During the early days, artists, intellectuals and other renegades often sported red dials to assert their individuality. For 2012, the red dial returns. During the 1930s, the Manufacture offered a broad palette of dial colors. The vast majority of those acquiring a Reverso opted for white, cream-colored, black or gold-toned dials.Even during this period referred to in French as the Annes Folles (Crazy Years), it took a distinctly non-conformist attitude to select a colorful dial. A few chose chestnut brown or blue, but a select group of nonconformists opted for red – a definite eye-catcher and personal style signal. The Grande Reverso 1931 Rouge reinterprets the red dials of the 1930s. Equipped with manually-wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822, it features an large yet slender case, just as in th
will APSC fix jumping minute hand?
Seems it's known that the minute hand tends to jump on 15400 when pushing in the crown after setting the time. There's a few methods to reducing this tendency but I find they don't always work and it's a bit disappointing in general. Anyone ever had this remedied by apsc?

16600 vs. 116600
I've been doing some poking around as I look to find the right Sea Dweller as my next watch (and by next I suppose I mean the moment I find it; I'm not exactly patient always).I'm noticing in the pre-owned market that the 16600 market is soft while the 116600 market is fairly strong. Aside from the steel vs. ceramic bezel, what is driving this big difference? I love the look of both watches, and it's not as though I plan on re-selling the watch anyway, but I'm still wondering why the 116600 seems to be in demand and the 16600 seems to be being avoided. This makes the prices for 116600's fairly reliable and consistent but it makes it very difficult to properly assess a 16600 to determine what is a fair price (they seem to sit here in the classifieds without ever moving really). What gives? Should I even be thinking about the price/demand differences in these watches or is there a clear reason to opt for the 116600 over the 16600?Thanks for helping!
