Hello everyone,I'm really bummed and would like your comments and knowledge on this.Last night I decided to put my SA on a leather strap, and proceeded to remove the bracelet. When I did so, I noticed the watch was a bit dirty between the lugs, so I washed it with a bit of soap at the bathroom sink. Before doing this, I made completely sure the crown was fully screwed in. After the wash, I dried the watch with a towel AND some soft toilet paper. After this, I unscrewed the crown to wind the watch and set the right time and date. All went well and my SA looked terrific on leather. This morning, however, after wearing the watch out in the sun, I noticed condensation underneath the crystal! Needless to say my heart sank. The condensation actually formed in the shape of the chronographs and hands. The only way I can imagine water may have gotten into the watch is when, AFTER drying the watch with a towel AND toilet paper, I unscrewed the crown to set the time and date. Has this ever happen

My wife got me a new (my first from an AD) Sub C date for my birthday back once Nov. I have been trying to come up with something to put on the back and I'm not coming up with anything. You guys have any suggestions? The last one she had the idea to put Not for Sale which I still traded and she's still laughs about haha see belowI thought of using 143 or 1-4-3 since it's our number (google 1-4-3 lighthouse if you're curious) Or since it's a heirloom and I'm a captain I thought of Capt. And my name Or something like Happy Birthday from my wife and daughters name? Total loss, I'm sure some of you creative minds can do better!! Ideas ???

My Big Fat Day-Date Dilemma

Here goes:I guess you could say I'm a long-time Rolex owner; I purchased a pre-owned Datejust in 2005, all stainless with a very unique bezel (don't even know the name, it looks old school) and a mother of pearl dial with diamond markers. This watch has served me well through thick and thin, and I always said that when I reached a certain point in my life, having achieved certain things, I would treat myself to a solid yellow gold Day-Date. I figure I'm there now, and this Day-Date purchase is now very much a reality. I am interested in the absolute standard all-gold presidential, no frills. It's the #228238. Tourneau prices it at $34,850 -- but I have two connections in Florida for $26,500 and $24,500. Same exact watch, but here's the catch: these are not authorized dealers. I've heard that people strongly dislike Tourneau and would sooner not buy a Rolex at all than buy one through them, but I do like th
