AP Questions
This may seem like a ridiculous thread but I have a few questions about AP as I am completely new....1. Can someone tell me where to buy straps for a ceramic diver that are AP brand as well as non AP brand (reputable high quality)2. How does one change the straps on these watches? Also is there any difference in the movement between the Ceramic diver and the non ceramic diver (full stainless steel model) Thank you in advance for your help!
Which ROO for a 2nd AP watch.
Hi, I already have an RO 15300 blue dial and I've been thinking of getting a ROO. My choices are down to the black dial Rubberclad and the black themes. 1st choice is the rubberclad since It's more sporty and the rubber bezel breaks away the monotony of having two steel bezels. But for some reason I also find the black themes elegant and sporty at the same time more versatile. Want to hear your thoughts about it before I decide and pull the trigger. Thank you very much.
hello from Tennessee
Hey Guys..... and GalsI just thought I would introduce myself. I have been trolling this website for several years now. I am a watch collector for over 10 years now and love both Rolex and Omega. I currently own an Omega SMP but have also owned a few Rolex watches including a 6694 and a vintage explorer. I flipped both just because the 34mm watch was just too small. I received my SMP several years ago an a gift from my wife and still love wearing it. I am really considering the purchase of a Broad Arrow Speedy. As much as I love Rolex the one thing I love about my SMP is... everyone knows a Rolex when they see one, but only real watch lovers know an SMP when they see one.
Which would you take on this trip?
Hello everyone here at TRF! I am just learning that I'll be heading to Vegas for a long weekend in about a month. Being the WIS that I am, I am already focusing on the most important detail.....which watch to bring along. There are 2 that I am considering and would like you opinions on which to take.Option #1). Patek 5164ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424630017.276414.jpgThe advantage to this option is of course the two time zones. In addition, it's extremely comfortable to wear and I tend to worry less about it getting dirty since I can always just give a quick clean in the shower. Plus, the versatility of being able to lounge with it by the pool, then go to a nice dinner and a show. On the downside, it just isn't as elegant or flashy, and Vegas is sometimes the perfect opportunity to be a little showy. As stupid as that statement sounds, it is somewhat important to me.Option #2). Patek 5960PImageUploadedByTapatalk1424630325.373328.jpgMy desire to bring this piece on the trip simply c
scratch on sapprire crystal
Hi guys, I just scratched my sapphire crystal on my 127. It's a small scratch, but a scar on my heart...Now I have googled and seen that you can remove it with diamond paste, but not to do it if you have an anti-reflective coating. Does the 127 have an anti reflective coating? Can't find any info on it?Thx
