Watches NEWS
After 30 years of dreaming .. I joined the club (5711R)
As promised ... here are the pics of my new 5711R... I literally feel like this will be my main watch now... I am afraid to scratch it but I will wear it often.Bought from an authorized dealer who took a trade on a AP RO Chrono and cash for the balance... no discount alas but I don't mind. I was lucky to find one as every dealer I called (and I called many) said no way and some even laughed..
Patek Philippe 5146j-010 hands material
Hello all!I would like to know if the hands of the 5146j-010 are made of 18k gold. I could only learn that the hour markers are made of 18k gold. What about the hands? Thanks,Jason
5711 vs 5712 blue - different?
Does anyone own both watches or have seen both at the same time? I saw a 5712 in person a while back and thought that the dial was more grey blue (rather than pure blue) than I thought it would be, even under lighting. However, yesterday someone showed me their 5711 in person and the blue looked absolutely amazing, even better than all the pictures I've seen on here. Are the blues on these two just different? Or maybe just my eyes playing tricks
BLNR help - used or new?
Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster here. Love the forum, has been very helpful in the past. I own 2 Omegas (Speedy Pro & Seamaster PO GMT), 2 Breitlings (Superocean Heritage 46 & Transocean 1461), a Tudor (Black Bay Heritage S&G), a Sinn (104), a Tag Heuer (Link) and some Seikos (SKX, Samurai, Cocktail Time). I've wanted a BLNR for a while now and I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. As you know, the BLNR is still in very high demand. ADs here in Australia won't even put my name on the waiting list or they tell me it'll be at least 2 years. For now, that leaves me with 2 options. 1) Buy a used one in decent condition, have it polished and pay a 10% premium or 2) purchase a new one from an independent watch store and pay a 30% premium. That one is brand new and would include a warranty card with my name on it. I'm not allowed to attached images to this post, but you can check out 2 pics here:bit (dot) ly / 2GfaPeNbit (dot) ly / 2IKl4pTMaybe another user can incl
Daytona taking centre stage...
Despite being flanked on each side by a watch that I think is arguably the best looking ever made, the Daytona still manages to look incredible and fully warrants being front and centre.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
