Watches NEWS
Royal Oak 15450 - very impressed!
Hi allTried this on today and am very impressed. The dial is unbelievable - photos don't do it justice. I just loved everything about it, 37mm size, date, polished/brushed steel case and a very nice bracelet with solid deployment clasp. Anybody have any comments with regards to movement - is it reliable?Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Analysis on people fighting over BLNR discontinuance news/rumors
Case 1. BLNR is going to be discontinued!!!- Some owners : No...my watch is being discontinued..? I know there's nothing that can be done about it...but it's somewhat disappointing & depressing.- Some owners : YES!! The value of my watch will now go up!! Too many people already have BLNR in their possession anyway...It's about time that Rolex discontinued the BLNR.- Pursuers : NO!!! This can't be !!! For whatever reasons (On a waitlist, collecting money, etc.) I regret I couldn't get my hand on it earlier...Oh I envy the owners (grinds teeth)Case 2. 116710 BLNR discontinued, but is going to be updated to 126710 with new movement- Most of the owners : NO !!! The value of my watch will depreciate...and even be outdated! I hope the new BLNR is on a Jubilee bracelet, so it would be incompatible with exisitng Oyster band !! - Some owners : Hmmm...I don't really care. Rolex is a Rolex. The value of it won't go away. Relax guys! Live your life!- Pursuers : Oooh this is a good news; I was
Third Watch to Fill Out the Collection
After a decade of buying and selling my collection stands at two pieces of which I am very happy. A 38mm Omega Planet Ocean 2500, and a Grand Seiko 9F High Accuracy Quartz. I'm looking for suggestions on a Rolex that would be the perfect complementary addition to this group.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Yacht-master clasp
Hi,Does this bracelet clasp look legit? It is on a 16622 YM A serial number thus production year around 1999-2000. (Re: rolex crown on the swivel portion instead of on the body of the clasp)It also has solid end links (when did SEL appear on YM bracelets?)Are the center links suppose to be polished and the lateral links non-polished? (In this case, the whole bracelet is polished). What is the number that is suppose to be on the bracelet and SEL?Thanks!
