Qn on Novelties
Pardon my ignorance.I've browsed through AP site watch browser and noticed only a few watches have novelty written under them. Can someone help me understand novelty better?Does it mean it's more exclusive? Limited? The best series? Coveted? Award-winner in its class?I couldn't help but see that both the ROO Diver (black and silver dials) 15710 are both novelty. How are the pieces labelled novelty? Any rulings etc? If anyone could pass me a link to their site on this would be great. I would just have to read and not waste others' time writing. Thanks!
Omega Aqua Terra Golf
I just purchase this watch last week, and I've been wearing it all week. I just love this watch for some reason, it's just aesthetically pleasing. What you guys think? Sorry for the bad pics, need to work on my photography skill
Rolex Limited Edition Turn-O-Graph
Maybe this has already been covered somewhere else on this forum?I was at a Rolex boutique in Tokyo on Saturday and they showed me two Turn-O- Graph watches they said were limited edition models for Japan only. They were priced at around 934,000 yen each. They had a white dial Turn-O-Graph with green Turn-O-Graph lettering and a green second hand; the other a black dial version. The lady with whom I was speaking said there are 300 of each being produced for sale. I tried on both versions. I have to say they looked great. My scanner is not working properly, so I took a few pictures of the photo cards she gave me. I also grabbed a photo off of a Japanese web site.
Sub Date and Milgauss
My current collection. I plan to include 1-2 more pieces: 116600 or SD43, and Daytona C. Thinking I may let the Sub Date go being replaced by the new piece. Or I better let one of the Milgauss go? I want to limit the collection to 8 watches.
