Watches NEWS
Yet another Incoming Thread. First AP!
Was set on a 44mm novelty panda for a long time due to pricepoint and perceived value. Obviously these are more of an emotional purchase so I ended up with this... Will try for a novelty later on.Also I come from a Panerai 372 which I absolutely love and still have, would a rubber strap be too weird on this watch?
Red tip?
I want to add a little color on my panda dial and was thinking of painting the tip of the sweep hand in red. Got the inspiration from a few pics out there but I realize that the tip of the speedy sweep hand is a bit longer. What do you guys think? Here's a quickly crude mock-up. What do you guys think?
Speedy losing time
I've proudly worn my 3570.50 almost daily since I purchased it new in January and I love it. I wind it every morning, but the darned thing loses about 15-20 sec/day. I realize there is a reason this watch doesn't carry COSC certification, but geez... My Zenith Daytona and GMT-C stay within about 3 sec/day and I'm used to that level of accuracy. How accurate are your 1863 movements? Do I need to prepare for separation anxiety and a long trip to Omega Service, or is that just the way it is?____________________________ TT OysterQuartz SS/Black U Daytona TT GMT II-C DD OysterQuartz Brietling Aero Omega Speedmaster Pro
Major Shakeup coming to my collection (This Tues)
A New Beginning After much thought and reflection, countless hours on this forum, reading and watching reviews, etc...AND having fun shopping at a couple ADs for Rolex, AP and PP,I have decided to cash in my All Rolex collection for something new, something fresh. Something unexpected.Past 8 years journeyOver the past 8 years, I have owned 9 Rolexes - 2 SS Subs, 2 TT Subs, a WG Sub, SS Daytona, Pepsi, DSSD, and a Exp II. RG YM didn't stay long enough to count. Though you could say 10.I still love Rolex, but I am desiring something new and fresh. Honestly, I have not been excited with my Rolexes as of late, not because I dislike Rolex, no far from it... Its because I have been a Rolex company man for 8 years, not deviating except for 2 Omegas and a Hublot (all very short lived). After all this I have realized a couple things1) I don't like heavy, PM watches with PM bracelets... I like the way they look, just not how they feel on my small, awkward shaped wrists.2) I will probably never ge
Making room for a 116613LB :)
Finally got to the point where I could justify getting a 116613LB!!!!This 116710LN has been fun, but need to make room. Look for it on the sales section shortly and wait for the incoming pics!!I went blue, black TT started looking too serious for some reason![IMG][/IMG]
