diver comfort
Well I've had my ceramic diver on the wrist non stop for a little more than 48 hrs now, and I must say my fear of it being not comfy enough has vanished as after getting used to it it's incredibly comfortable for a watch that size, maybe because of the rubber band, I still haven't gotten used to the size visually speaking, when I look at it I have the feeling it's very very big, but I forget I'm wearing it, even sleep with it and no discomfort at all, whereas after having my 5712 I couldn't wear my Rolexes as I found them lacking comfort, but not the case with the AP, so for those hesitating about this go for it, after a small adjustment period it feels fine
Welcome 'Omega Glasgow Boutique'.
Still in a bit of shock I needed to have my bracelet adjusted today and headed down to see my AD in the Argyll Arcade, Buchanan St. Glasgow. There 'right at the entrance' was a new 'Omega Boutique' under construction - Prime position - Wow.That was the first shock.Second shock was when I went into my AD, Laing's Glasgow, to find out that they no longer carried the brand. Plenty of Rolex, Cartier, IWC, TAG etc but not an Omega on site. There are currently still two other Omega dealers in Glasgow, Watches of Switzerland and Mappin & Webb, but for how much longer? I looked in the window of WOS and it looked like something out of the dark ages. Boring, dull and out of date.Well done Omega Lets get this brand positioned where it should be in the market place and bring us into the exciting modern world that Omega deserves to be part of. Goodbye to boring WOS - Welcome 'Omega Glasgow Boutique'The new boutique build is in the early stages but I for one can't wait.Pictures later.
Proposed swap RO---5712r
Was hoping to get some opinions on a swap a friend of mine is considering to make.He has a RO time only in rose on leather that he bought from an AD 3 years ago. Believe he paid low 30s. He has a 7 day iwc portugese as well and is trying to make a swap for a 5712r on leather. He has 2 offers for the swap from two non AD , plus 17 and plus 14 cash. Seems like it's a consistent market. I encouraged him to look at new mint preowned as my 5711 is.Prices look right? Would urge new or would you be comfortable saving 5 or so k for preowned on this reference? I already have offers for more than I've paid on the 5711. TyvmSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All of a sudden all these Patek Problem Posts
OK I will call these PPPs.. but in the last 24 or 48 hours seems like a lot of reports of Patek failures or problems.. Seems like a new pattern. What is happening here.. Just a chance set of issues at the same time.. ?
Local Pawnshop has a Gauss in the window.
They never really have Rolex in the window so this caught my interest. It has a clear crystal instead of the green I'm used to seeing on these. Then again not really a Milgauss expert. Is it some thing worth exploring or keep walking?Seolta mo iPhone
