Hands-On: The 1950s Audemars Piguet Perpetual Calendar Reference 5516 For Sale At Christie's Nex
I don't know how many times I've admitted this, but I dream of being a vintage Audemars Piguet collector. The watches are so rare, so beautiful, so special, and until recently, completely under the radar. Now they are getting a little more attention – and a great triple calendar chronograph just sold for serious money at Christie's Geneva – but that doesn't mean the world at large has taken notice. And that is why I am writing this article today. A truly world-class watch is coming up for sale next week, and I want to make sure the collecting world at large takes note. It's an Audemars Piguet, from the 1950s, with a full perpetual calendar, two-tone dial, and leap year indicator. It is one of nine ever made, and it just might be the best watch for sale this season. 1 OF 6 Reference 5516 was made in nine examples, six of which feature the moonphase at 6 o'clock. What makes the 5516 so special? First, the rarity. The watch was made i
My Review about My Passion Omega Seamaster Professional Regatta Yellow!
First Of Al sorry about my English, Sorry about my wrong words, and sorry about my Gramaticals!Second: Will be my First review in English! I do just in Portuguese( I From Brazil) so I am brazilianThe dial: Its undefeated this Yellow, White and this Marvellous Black, The Bezel: Its really a True Georgeous this Ceramic Grey, 120Click, and its a little hard to move the Bezel, I think Because its new my watch or its really hard. The movement: Its the Famous Valjoux 7750, But better modified I think for Omega, Its Co-Axial, Cosc, SI14, the correct name Caliber 3330, And who Have this Caliber can Felt in the wrist the movement right, I can Fell.In The Dark: Its really Amazing this Blue and Green isntt it? The Bracelet: Its very, but Really Very Heavy, But in the same time Its so Pleasure and Comfortable to wear it 24/7, and We dont need more to spend money to buy Half-link, My watch Came with two-half-link Installed, if you guys know how do doesnt scratch the bracelet, please l
Seamaster Planet Ocean Ladies Chronograph
Now I think there was a topic on this a while back here but not sure how much info / pictures were attached. A great new ladies watch from Omega on the way. Pictures of this watch came about during Basel 2009. There is a write up on the new Planet Ocean Chronograph in Omega Lifetime (4th issue seen below):From - omegawatchesAll of the issues can be seen here:.omegawatches/index.php?id=1113Omega is yet to updated their model listings on the site, and the magazine article does not list a model number. It is known for sure though that this watch is a 37.5mm Planet Ocean Chronograph for the Ladies. This watch has the same Co-Axial caliber 3313 movement from their larger models. As of this moment I do not know the MSRP, but expecting it to cost less than the bigger, mens models. Same depth rating as the other versions, 600M. Also herd that it will be just like those bigger models and offer both Chronograph (seen below) and non Chronograph. In my opinion think it is one heck of a watch for t

Protective Sticker: How long
Heya TRFers,How long did your protective sticker last before you noticed that there were still a few unpeeled ones? I thought I had all of it removed when I bought mine a year ago. I noticed this when I was lightly brushing and rinsing my watch.Even their stickers are quality water resistant!cheers,
