The Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture Gets 2 New Looks
For years, one of the signatures of Ulysse Nardin has been its fine GMT watch. The Dual Time models have a legible dial with just two center-mounted hands, making for a simple, intuitive reading of the time in multiple locations. In 2014, the brand re-released the Dual Time with an important advancement: an in-house movement produced in UN’s Le Locle factory. At this year’s Baselworld, the brand added two more versions of the Dual Time Manufacture, including a nautically-themed limited edition. Both new versions of the Dual Time Manufacture come in a 42-mm gold case. It is water resistant to 30 meters. The watches maintain the dial layout of their predecessors: local time is shown by the center-mounted hour and minutes hands, with small seconds at 6 o’clock. Gwyneth Paltrow has joined Baume & Mercier as a friend of the brand. The new relationship kicks off with an exclusive cocktail party at SIHH in Geneva on January 17. The multi-talented Oscar-winning actress recently sang her way into the hearts of a new generation with her rendition of Cee-Lo's Forget You on Glee, and she made her live singing debut performing the title track from her movie Country Strong on the CMAs. Though Paltrow will not be lending her face to advertising campaigns, she will work with Baume & Mercier on various projects, most likely centering on the brand’s Hamptons line. Paltrow has a summer home in the tony resort town town for which the line is named.

FOIS crown question
Hey all,Wore my FOIS for the first time in a while today and as I was setting the time, I noticed that there was a little bit of play in the crown. Basically, that I could turn the crown a little bit before it would engage and move the hands. Do any of your FOIS' experience the same thing or is this something I should have looked at by my watchmaker?Thanks!
