Richard Mille RM 63-02 World Timer Automatic Watch
Richard Mille?is releasing a new?world timer watch after?their?RM 58-01 from?back in 2013, and this one is called the Richard Mille RM 63-02 World Timer Automatic. It is not a tourbillon, but it has got a brand new in-house movement, and this new world timer still sticks to the philosophy of the brand that the watch should be as easy to use as possible. This was achieved in part by removing the need for a pusher when using the time zone function: the satin-brushed and polished grade-5 titanium rotating bezel is actually set on ball bearings, allowing easy adjustment when the wearer is setting a time zone. New Purchase Planet Ocean
Just bought my first Omega - was torn between 2 but went for the Planet Ocean in the end - smaller size (41mm I think!) after much deliberation. Very pleased with her! I have a question regarding the Helium Value - does this always have to be screwed tight? If not 100% tight will it let in water? I was told the Rolex Sub is Water Resistent to 50 metres with the crown virtually pulled out! and 300 metres with it screwed tight.I didnt know whether Omega had the same type of sealing system, on Rolex its the triple lock I think its called.The workmanship on the Planet Ocean watch is fantastic, I have always previously owned Rolexes and found them to be excellent but when I look on various forums the Omegas and the Rolexes are 'marked' very closely - as though the quality is very close, yet the price of similar purpose Rolexes is almost twice as much as Omega prices, comparisons such as e.g Seamaster v Submariner or Planet Ocean v Sea Dweller.Are Omegas similar quality/workmanship yet 1/2 t

For months I've considered upgrading my meager two-watch collection, currently comprised of a stainless steel Breguet Marine and a rose gold JLC MUT Moon. I've initiated several forum threads during my search and have received many kind replies from TRF members.I initially focused upon a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date because I had the opportunity to buy a new one from an AD at a reasonable price. But I wasn't sure how the Day-Date would fit into my collection and which occasions might be appropriate for wearing a Day-Date. Is the Day-Date a flashy casual watch, a flashy special occasion watch or just over-the-top flashy? Don't get me wrong, I really like the Day-Date and often wish I owned one but, on the other hand, I'm not absolutely sure it fits my self-image. Well after six years of serious flipping and owning basically every single model other than a day date or sky dweller, I can truly say that my collection is complete. I honestly know that I've never truly thought that before. I had become addicted to the thrill of buying a new watch and somehow got a way of enjoying the pieces that I've worked hard to collect. I did a rough count the other day and Ive bought over 30 pieces in the past six years . I do feel for me at least that the perfect number is three, but my collection sits at four. Of the four I have, I've bought the BLNR four different times and the blue Milgauss three different times, only to miss them like crazy! I'm glad the flipping train has finally come to an end. The only other move I was contemplating was the blue sky dweller or a blue sub, but after finally seeing the blue sky dweller and getting to wear a friends blue sub for a few days I now know I'm done.
