Chopard Ladies Diamond Quattro Tourbillon watch is worth millions of dollars
Stampede of diamonds in a watch movement Vortex can often have a result "bad taste". It is difficult to produce the ultra decadent and still seems in good taste. I think that despite the half price of millions of dollars of this Chopard Ladies Diamond Quattro Tourbillon watch, it remains intelligently and beautifully designed. Decadence comes with the 42 mm wide 18 k White or case in rose gold with approximately 450 (more than 10 Carat) diamond round, baguette and reductions in paving. Watches are paired with white or pink alligator strap.
thinking my next watch may be a panerai but.....
hiI'm pretty interested in a pam 356 chrono....the daytona is just too small for me and have it be a chrono. i like the size of the omega speedy but to me, the bezel looks a bit cheesy (sorry for the rhyme)....and i love the crown guards on the panerai.....however, in as much as the references to the italian navy don't instil confidence with me, i am used to the reliability of rolex and i really have zero tolerance for a watch that needs maintenance.....i don't want the 'have to tinker with it' ferrarri type, but instead like the reliability of the mercedes or honda type -exclusive of quality issues....bottom line: am i setting myself up for issues with the pam 356 or other pams? should i look to iwc's ? thanks in advance...
PAM 372 winding question
I just picked up my PAM 372 and noticed that the crown springs back just after a few winds. Is this normal? The winding feels so different from my PAM 177.
Trying to gauge "fair" price (gift for wife)
I'm looking for a gift for my wife and know she's wanted a Rolex for some time. I've been out of the buying game for some time, so want to gauge what is a good price for what I'm looking for:SS OP 34 (114200)Silver dialFrom an authorized dealerMSRP is $5,050 and while I don't want to run afoul of any rules regarding discussions of specific dealers or prices paid, I'm trying to gauge what I should shoot for in negotiations. When she looked at this watch a few years ago, we were told 20% discount (but we ended up buying a house instead...) and I'm not sure whether that's still the going rate or not. Thanks.
What will be the fair price for a Rolex 16610LV no box and papers?
I have been looking for one recently and found this. Excellent condition but no box/papers. Your views please.
