Frdrique Constant Maxime: Affordably In-House
Five years ago, Frdrique Constant joined the circle of Swiss brands that develop and produce their movements in-house. For 2009, Frdrique Constant introduces its Maxime Manufacture Automatic featuring the all-new, in-house manufactured FC-700 automatic caliber. Outside, the 42mm diameter case offers polished and matte surfaces. A sapphire crystal covers a silver guilloch dial. Priced at only $2550 in steel or $3550 in steel/rose gold plate, the Maxime offers classic good looks and excellent value for a Swiss-made watch with a manufacture movement. The Maxime is available at retailers now. For more information, visit frederique-constant. Click the images below to view larger versions.

Need some help.
A friend of min asked her to help her put a value on these two watches so that she can sell them. She's told me that she has the box and paperwork for both but I have yet to see anything in person. I would appreciate if anyone can help me identify and give me an idea on value. Thanks guys!
DSSD - is the black less popular than blue?
Setting aside the new DSSD and the changes made access both the blue and black models. Just speaking to the blue vs black. I see a lot more discussion of the James Cameron Blue model. I am on the waitlist for the new blue DSSD but the more I think about it I may like the black version better. Why does the all black seem to get less love?
Poll: Would you want 1680 Red Magnification level on your new Rolex?
I love the huge magnification on the 1680 red Submariner. I mean I really love it. I'm wondering how others might feel about having that huge magnification on their watches? Remember... Rolex employees who make decisions are probably lurking...Here is an example of what I'm talking about: 1680 Red Submariner HUMONGOUS cyclops magnification - AWESOME You know what my vote will be.
