Girl Tech: Franck Muller Presents The World's Smallest Tourbillon Watch In A Feminine Little Package
This has to be one of the most cutesy luxury watches I have ever seen. And at a price that is going to be well over $60,000 it might need some growing up to do. Underneath the heart shaped bridge lies the world's smallest production tourbillon in a watch. The small tourbillon escapement is just 11.6mm wide. Very small, indeed. The rest of the new Franck Muller Tourbillon Lady 3080 T is equally petite. The 18k white gold tonneau shaped case is 42mm high, and 30mm wide. Surprisingly, it is only 10mm thick, which makes it very thin for a tourbillon watch. It is manually wound in-house movement with 80 hours of power reserve in two barrels. Pretty nice for a such a small watch. On the back of the case is another sapphire window for a view of the movement.I think about the placement of this watch in the market. You don't need to make "the world's smallest tourbillon" in a man's watch, as that sort of defeats the idea of today's men's watch which are large. Franck Muller still wanted to embod
Anyone with a 25940OK using another strap than rubber?

What is a reasonable discount off of MSRP?
Greetings from a newbie, I have a beginner's question. I have always worn inexpensive Seiko watches but I am ready to buy something nice. I can't afford a Submariner so I am going to purchase an Omega Seamaster 300 M shortly after Christmas. There are 2 Omega ADs in my city of 1 million peeps and, oddly enough, they are located about 100 feet from each other. I visited them today and both mentioned the same MSRP of $3400. At the first store (Tourneau) the salesman said they did not put items on sale but he would work with me on the price. Since I wasn't buying it today I didn't ask for the exact amount of the discount. I visited the 2nd store (Bailey Banks & Biddle) and as soon as they found out that I'd already been to the Tourneau across the walkway they immediately offered me a 20% discount on the same watch -actually, on any watch they had in the store - good for today only. I feel like I've been car shopping. Anywho, what can I expect as a reasonable discount on a new
5712R vs 5980AR
i am wondering whether it is a good decision to let the 5712R go for the 5980AR...there would be some cash involved on my side but the deal seems reasonable. i know, TT and all that....but the dial of the 5980AR is so amazing.....on the other hand i am wondering whether both watches do not overlap with my 5711R too much.....the other pieces in my collection are: rolex batman, 5227R, 5119J (i share both calatravas with my wife), rolex daydate YG incoming.....
