Omega Sochi Petrograd Limited Edition Art Deco Watch For 2014 Olympics
Omega, long time official timekeeper of the Olympics, has released another limited edition watch in honor of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Called the Omega Sochi Petrograd limited edition, this special retro-redo piece is extremely unique and speaks to an existing older art deco-style Omega watch from 1915. The first limited edition Sochi Olympic games watch was this Planet Ocean model. Often, Omega has been seen offering more than one limited edition watch for each new Olympics games. What is interesting about the Omega Sochi Petrograd (aside from its history) is that it is a more unique timepiece, and not just a specially branded version of something that Omega currently produces, but rather a revival of an older limited edition (based on the classic). We've actually seen the historic model that the Omega Sochi Petrograd limited edition watch is based on at the Omega museum in Switzerland. help me decide?
Audemars Piguet 26331ST.OO.1220ST.01. - blue dial (~$23-24k) orRolex white gold GMT - BLRO (~$24-26k)Also considering Patek 5712 - all steel (~$40k ? should be low 30s ?- but prices seem to have moved up a lot..)what are the msrp's of the AP and Patek ?? I have a white gold sub and a 44mm Plat ROOIs the BLRO too similar to my smurf?Prefer to add a watch - could swap the smurf for the AP..but I think id miss the smurf (I LOVE the flat blue surrounded by white gold)Since I own an AP and a Rolex maybe the Patek is the right choice? Just seems like the prices of the 5712 have moved up too much. Thoughts?

First AP Inbound: Bracelet Sizing Tips 15400
Hey guys,After thinking about adding an AP to the collection for over three years, I finally decided to take the plunge.I have a new 15400 inbound this morning and the only thing I am uncertain about is the process of sizing the bracelet. I am 100% comfortable working on my Rolex bracelets and PAM straps, etc. So any tips you guys can provide for how to take a few links out would be greatly appreciated. More specifically...1) What is the correct size screwdriver? I am thinking 1.42) Can someone describe the method of attachment in greater detail? Is it a single screw style pin (like an oyster bracelet) or is it a two-part pin with screw heads on both ends that requires two screwdrivers?3) With a new Rolex, I will usually gently heat the bracelet under very hot water to loosen any factory loctite, etc and it works like a charm. Will that technique be sufficient here? And finally, any other tips/tricks you guys can offer I would be most appreciative of. Like I said, I am comfortable with
