Hi guys - It's been a while since I had time to sit in front of the computer and dedicate time to sharing my newest addition... (my 2nd AP since joining this forum - first was a 15400)I just ordered the horn back strap w/ red stitching.. on its wayHope you all enjoy A few impressions:* I find the watch incredibly attractive - I glance at it without checking the time - good sign * I've had it for about a month now and it keeps time perfectly * took a little while to get used to the weight of the ROO - very pleased* the presence of the Panda is just amazingHave a great weekend!

just as i was bored , and you mainly see the black dails, here some shots of the brown dail.... i bought this watch in the spur of the moment, and it seen hardly any wrist time, and was mosly collecting dust, however the spark jumped over and i fell in love with it... Pic's just dont seem to capture the true color but its quite stunning..

3570.50 or 311.30.42.30.01.005
I admit I am new, and I am looking for advice on an Omega Speedmaster. Which Model is considered more desirable, and will hold it's value more in the long run the 3570.50 or the new 311.30.42.30.01.005 ? The new box and extras the come with the 311 look really nice, but functionally and collectable, which model is the one to really look in to? Here we go, I posted photos of this one back in December after I first purchased it and it was looking a little tired with a Seiko bracelet, a missing pusher, a badly damaged bezel insert, a broken spring and cracking glass. (see first two photo's)The story of it's life is quite interesting and is as follows.......It was purchased new back in the late sixties by an Australian adventurer by the name of Dennis Bartell, from a shop in Adelaide. He was a bush pilot in those days and wanted something that was accurate and reliable. Several years later in 1985 he decided to do something totally different and thought a little walk in the desert from the North of Australia to the South, a distance of about 3000 K's (1900 Miles) might be fun, and so organised himself, starting off from the Gulf of Carpentaria. Sitting by the pool this afternoon wearing my BLNR and it works perfectly. Went by my ad this am, asked them if they possibly had any extra oysterflex bracelets laying around for my stainless 116520.
