Autodromo Prototipo Review
Autodromo is one of the brands that has really surprised us in the last couple of years. When we first saw their watches, we were thrilled by their unique designs, nothing being stock, and attention to detail. As the brand has matured, so have their designs and knowledge of watch making, which was very clear in their second offering, the limited edition Monoposto mechanical. One of our favorite pieces from last year, this utterly unique watch has character and finishing that far surpassed its sub-$1000 price point.Their newest line continues this trend of development with what will likely be their most popular watch to date, the Prototipo. Incoming, first non Rolex watch for me :)
Loving this 3570.50 that i got from a member of canwatchco, a Canadian watch forum. We dont have an omega boutique where i live and it was my first time seeing an Omega in person when it arrived today! I have to say i like it more than I thought i would...which is crazy because i liked it a lot in pictures. I really enjoy wearing the 116719 blro with all its heft and shine - but this speedmaster actually feels like love at first sight ;). Sad that i never gave this watch a chance until now.

Show me your "Ed White" Speedmaster....
Wearing my 105.003 Speedmaster aka the Ed White today. Today -June 3rd 2014- is the 49th anniversary of Lt. Colonel Higgins White's historic Gemini 4 space walk, made with one of these Speedmasters strapped to his wrist. Definitely the right stuff!

Rolex at the Masters
Just wondering if anyone else noticed all the commentators / past Masters champions wearing Rolex watches. I noticed quite a few Submariners and Datejusts being flashed on TV by the commentators. Since Rolex is sponsoring the streaming programming I'm wondering if they gave Rolex watches to the TV announcer's for passive advertisement. I didn't notice anyone wearing Daytona's.

Next on the list with the AD - Buy the 126600?
AD just called and I'm next on the list the SD43. Most likely buying as an investment piece and don't want to unseat my SubC. Worth the speculation to be an investment piece, or just pass and don't deal with the hassle and risk of selling down the road. Thoughts??
