Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ChronoDate Ladies
With a diameter of 40 mm, the new Patravi ChronoDate Ladies offers a bold, classic-sporty look. The bezel is set with 48 diamonds weighing .8 ct. Dial choices include contemporary white and elegant mother-of-pearl. A stainless steel bracelet, or a strap in python or Louisiana alligator skin, add the finishing touch. The large, framed date below 12 makes reading the date easier and faster. Carl F. Bucherer has used this type of date indication for decades. Combined with an appearance that is radiant in every sense, this big date and the chronograph features provide further proof of Carl F. Bucherer's technical expertise, constructive skill, and consistent design standards. Best AP selection in UK?
Hi,I am planning to buy a new RO Chrono 26320 but am not sure whether I prefer the blue or silver/white version. I would like to try them both on, ideally at the same time, so I can make a final decision.I went to Harrods today as they are listed as an AP boutique but their selection was very limited with only gold models in stock, and about 8 watches in total. Can anyone advise where the best place is to go? Selfridges?I am 30 miles west of London and regularly in the City for work.Any advice appreciated. Thanks
ROO bracelet
I'll be honest I'm not too impressed with the ROO bracelet, does anyone else feel the same? The inside edges are sharp and not finished, it doesn't fit well either and the boutique is charging me $215 plus tax for the half link. Other then that love the watch.
Omega Boutique
I just wanted to share a positive experience I had at an omega boutique this afternoon. I walked in and the place was empty so as expected I was greeted right away and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I was actually interested in seeing the PO liquid metal 42mm titanium which they had in stock. As I started talking to the guy it turns out he was the tech and not a salesman so he was very knowledgeable about everything and very helpful. He must have showed me 10+ watches with no pressure to buy. After a few min the sales guys came out from the back (guessing they were on break) and joined in on the conversation we were having. I must have spent an hour talking to these guys about omega movements and new omega releases this yr. The tech proceeds to show me the speedmaster mark II re issue and I must say that I really liked the racing dial in person. I told the guy that I had just seen an original for sale here on TRF and that if I went and bought it it would be their fa
Where to buy a replacement screwdriver tip
Hi allI have a PAM423 which I have very happily been wearing and swapping straps over since I bought it a few years ago.Unfortunately I managed to snap half the tip off the end of the screwdriver end / blade this week whilst tightening up the strap screws.I can find the whole screwdriver for sale but I only need a replacement tip /blade which I expect to be a lot cheaper than the whole screwdriver. I havn't asked my supplying dealer yet, but I imagine Panerai may only provide the whole screwdriver at great expense.Does anybody where replacements can be bought at sensible cost? For the avoidance of doubt its just the black anodised tip / blade that I need like the one on the left in the pic below. Many thanks in advance.
