To Wind or Not to Wind: Glycine Combat 6
This is the sixth generation of Glycine’s Combat series and for 2009, automatic and manual winding models are available. Both versions share a 43mm diameter case. The automatic, distinguished by the presence of a date function, uses an ETA 2824-2 movement, while an ETA 2801-2 powers the manual winder. Both versions offer a mineral glass display back. Both models are available on strap or bracelet, with black or blue dials, and with stick hour markers or Arabic numbers. Complete specs appear below the images. You can learn more about the Combat 6 in the News section at the official Glycine web sitebat 6 AutomaticsCombat 6 manual windingManual Winding SpecsMovementCaliber: ETA 2801-2 manual windingFunctions: hours, minutes and secondsSize: 11 1/2″Jewels: 17Power Reserve: 42 hoursHz: 4/28’800 vibrations per hourFinish: diamond finish on ratchet and crown wheel, visible screws in blue finish, bridges rhodium-coated, decorated “C?tes de Genve”, bevels diamond

Psyched for this one!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
My first time (+incoming)
I've always bought from an AD, but for a long time I've heard so much about DavidSW.. had a business trip in Orlando this past weekend so couldn't pass up the opportunity to meet him and see his one year old store... walked out with a BNIB moonwatch, my first modern omega . Service was fantastic , both David and Dan. Can not recommend enough ! (Ps apologies to any fellow TRF members who think I've gone over to the dark side...)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
My latest pickup
Just added this to my collection today. After a number of chronographs, the simple dial is a nice change-up for me.
So what's been discontinued today?
I've read the PM Skydwellers, and pre baselworld versions of the dssd so far....Anything else?
