Harry Winston has released a new limited edition watch, the Countdown to a Cure Timepiece, to benefit amfAR's (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) efforts to develop a cure for HIV/AIDS. Twenty percent of the retail sales price of each watch will be donated to the cause. The limited collection will be produced in a series of 20 women's watches and 20 men's watches. 1 OF 2 Both watches stem from the Midnight Collection. The men's version is a simple design with an automatic movement fitted in a 42 mm white-gold case and navy blue iridescent dial with applied baton indexes. The minute track features the multi-colors of amfAR. The colors are intended to represent the transition of the disease from "crisis to cure." All this talk of AP clocks....
My dealer got me this AP clock as a Christmas gift, it was incredibly generous of them but it proves that loyalty pays!The clock itself is manual wind not battery powered and has an 8 day power reserve. Coincidentally I was about to buy a nice clock however my budget would not have extended to this.

Went into a Patek dealer today.
So on my lunch break today I walked into Westwood, CA. There is a small jewelery store, Morgan Jewelers in Westwood. I have walked by it probably a dozen times and always marvelled at the PP in the window. So today I pop in and take a look around. I start talking to the guy behind the counter, super nice guy, he new I was a young guy without enough cash to be serious but he was nice enough to show me some stuff and shoot the breeze. I thought that I would be totally dismissed due to my age, 25, but the guy working was really nice. Now on to the watches, WOW, I have always admired PP, however, when you're looking at a case of about 50 of them, it's pretty cool. Now I just need to start saving, guess it's a good think I work for a bank, might need to open a PP account.

5min VS 3min SWISS MADE
Okay, I tried to see if there was already a thread about this, but on the LV Sub, I thought I read something about them having 5 minute SWISS MADE lettering. Mine has it, but each time someone else posts a pic of their new LV, they only have 3 minute lettering.Did this change in the different years of the model?
