From 7 sec slow per day to spot on..! Very happy now!
I bought this new model Navy brand new in december 2014. I was a bit dissapointed as the watch was running 7 sec slow per day. :-(I decided to wear it a few weeks anyway before sending it to the spa because I wanted to wear my new friend for a while. Now 4 months later the watch is running spot on. I adjusted the time to summertime two weeks ago and it is 2 sec behind today after two weeks. So 2 sec slow in 14 days. I did not do anything to the watch just wear/enjoy it everyday. I am very happy that I didn't send it in for service yet and that the watch is so precise now. Did some of you experienced the same? Here's a pic of today. That's the story!Cheers!Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Tapatalk
AP No. 2? Confused...BB/Volcano/Panda
AP community - I've come for advice (aka enabling and empowerment that only TRF knows how to do). I picked up my first AP (RO 15400) last month and am loving it. Since then I've been looking for a more casual/weekend watch. So this weekend I tried on a Diver at the Bal Harbour boutique, but was not so happy with it. My major issue was not liking the screw-in crown at the 10. Naturally, I then proceeded to try on a few others. I didn't think I wanted any more chronos as I have a daytona on which I never use the chrono feature. Tried a BB and a Volcano (wanted to see a panda but they didn't have one). I have to say though these ROOs are big gorgeous watches - and not to mention how the chrono dials look on the tapestry and the recessed date wheel . I'd have to say that the panda is probably the one I'd be most interested in because of the color scheme being a little more down to earth and I'm not sure I love a carbon forged case (maybe an acquired taste that will grow on me). AP Diver on leather??
I bought my first AP Diver a couple weeks ago and I love it! I however took it in as it was running a little fast (didnt want to wait for it to settle in) and thought I'd get the 3rd year warranty at the same time. This wasn't a big deal as I live in Tampa and the Clearwater center is about 20 min drive.I want to buy the bracelet for it but am being told it has up to a 6 month backorder!! I asked out of curiosity if there is a leather with clasp for the diver and apparently there is, brown and black and both are in stock.DOES ANYONE HAVE THE LEATHER ON THE DIVER AND WHAT DO YOU THINK?Thanks in advance and pics would be greatly appreciated.Daniel
The illness continues.... Which Patek??
Greetings guys,,Well firstly I have to say few years ago I thought I would never stray to this side of the fence into Patek territory thinking I would be happy with my collection of gorgeous Rolex's (WG SkyD, WG Sub, Vintage 16750 GMT(1980) and RED Sub (1969)) and Omega Speedy Pro and Seamaster... For months now ive started to look deeper and deeper into Patek's to the point now I am stepping up my search for my 1st Patek piece..Price decrease or increase has nothing to do with it just that I feel its time to step into the World of Patek. Now what I want and what I can afford without the wife asking for a divorce is another story..Here are a few pics of the Patek's I am looking at in my realistic price range. What id like to hear from you the experts is which one would you go and why?? I know at the end of the day its my decision on what sings to me but want to hear from the experienced collectors here.. Also any other Patek in that price range you feel might be good as my 1st Patek..Th
Sub C or Sea Dweller 16600
I have been looking for the next watch to add to my current rotation and have narrowed it down to the Sub C (have not decided date or no date) or the Sea Dweller 16600. I know this has been asked before but I did not see anything recent when I searched. I like the idea of the updated bracelet and the glidelock clasp but I love the looks of the 16600. For those that have or have had both, what are your thoughts? Thanks for your input, below is a picture of my current rotation Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
