Omega buying advice
Hi guys,I am new to the forum although have watched from a distance! SicI am in the UK, and am going to NYC in September and I am hoping to get a deal on a Speedy 3573.50.00 (if I can find one) or a Dark Side of The Moon. Any recommendations for ADs that would be able to help? Thanks.
Planet Ocean Date changing problem?
Just had my 4 year-old Planet Ocean (caliber 2500) back from repair (it had stopped, and Omega UK repaired it) and now the date seems not to move forward at midnight. I have now reset the date 4 times over the last 10 days (resetting it at midmorning) to the new correct date, but come the next morning (so 24 hours later) it is still on the same date. Sometimes it changes at midday, other times not at all??Any clues as to what is happening please? Many thanksDavid (UK)
Black and blue by the pool...oysterflex bonus
Sitting by the pool this afternoon wearing my BLNR and it works perfectly. Went by my ad this am, asked them if they possibly had any extra oysterflex bracelets laying around for my stainless 116520. He pulled one out of the drawer, said this is all I have and you're welcomed to it. Gave it to me for nothing lol. Now only one to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fit and finish/Quality
I have been reading a lot of articles lately comparing high end watches but none seem to answer a question I have. Most lists put PP, AP and others at the top with Rolex coming in a few rungs lower. (some lists a lot lower) I understand complications and rarity and market and all of that, but comparing simply fit and finish how does Rolex stack up against the top dogs? I am talking really about cases, dials bracelets and so forth , the stuff you can see without removing parts
