New member here. Long-time lurker, first time posting. I'm ready to pull the trigger on my very first AP (daily I'm sporting an IWC Yacht Club and on occasion I rock my JLC Master Calendar). I have an awesome feeling it won't be the last :)I've got a milestone birthday coming up towards the end of the month and I'm finally ready to move forward with a purchase. For those who have walked the road I'm about to travel, I'm kindly asking for some direction. If you could PM me what I should be looking for from a grey market, trusted seller, I will forever be grateful. Chrono24 is listing prices anywhere from $41K-$54K with retail pricing at $55K.

Hi all,Just wanted to share a pic or 2 of my new Moon Watch. After a lot of reading on this forum and around the internet, I decided on the 3572.50. I really liked the fact that it had the original Hesalite front and a Saphire back crystal. I found a seller here on TRF that had a nice one and pulled the trigger. I had to order an extra link from Otto Frie but I was able to install it myself. I also had to move a few links around to get the bracelet centered. Now that I've had a chance to wear it for a while, I can appreciate why this watch gets all the praise that it does. It truly is an awesome watch. I love the low profile. Very comfortable to wear.Unfortunately, the box is in horrible shape. I've read that this is common. Wondering if there is a way to get a new one??OK, pics:BOX:

First rolex. what do you think?
What do you guys think of the Yachtmaster II white gold with platinum bezel 116689 pre facelift? It seems to be super rare which is cool, i like being unique. Seems to have some good future potential once discontinued but that's not a big factor for me. The second hand depreciation has me thinking of saving up for it (29-30k *asking* price ). Can they be had at less because of its lack of popularity I.E. larger discount??I love the fact that it's got a ton of PM in it making it super heavy. Anybody know if the sandblast bezel can be restored at rolex without replacing it? There's pics online of the YM1 gold or platinum bezels which seem to be damaged due to poor polishing. Curious about that topic on the YM2 in particular (not covered in rolex forums).I can't find any discussions in the forums which is really odd for a modern Rolex or 116689 owners to private msg some questions. Maybe someone could namedrop some owners? No personal review on google youtube except a couple watchuwant vi
How often do you wear your Rolex?
I'm a watch addict. I'm also a perfectionist. Scratches and dings bug me. It is impossible not to bump your wrist during our busy lifestyles. So I keep my favorite Rolex tucked away for special occasions. When I put it on it is always perfect. No scratches or dings. Fortunately I have a fair number of special occasions so it gets used monthly. I own a number of other (non-Rolex) watches that I alternate and maintain at the local watchmaker. He loves my business because I keep the other watches polished and replace crystals as needed. Taking three watches in tomorrow for the usual repairs. My last two Rolex watches went to the AD for service multiple times for scratches before I sold them and purchased a new gold 116233. Am I alone or are there others that feel the same way? Thanks!
