OCD over my AP
I recently added an AP ROO Diver to collection. I bought it pre-owned, and am really loving the watch. When I was admiring the watch the other day, I noticed that the 8 screws on the caseback are slighty marred. This was probably done when someone was trying to authenticate the watch, and probably didn't have the exact screwdriver. It is not that noticeable, and it is in the back of the watch. However after I noticed this it started bugging me. I enquired about getting the screws replaced, and I was quoted $25 a screw, and I would have to ship it out.My wife thinks I am getting a little OCD with the watch. What do you guys think. Would you get the screws replaced or leave it?
Long time sub fan startled by current state of affairs
Hello all,First, I am sure this question has been asked many times before. However, I am hoping it is ok for me to ask it anyway because the current supply demand situation seems to be kind of unique (correct me if I'm wrong).I have been wanting a sub date for many years. I finally am in a position to buy, so I started looking around and Lo and behold I found that the sub happens to be the hottest thing at the moment with no deals to be found. This is my first and possibly only Rolex. I want to get it right and I don't want to get a bad deal just because I'm excited. Used prices are so close right now to new, that I want to just get it new if I can. I like the idea of getting a new one if it's only a bit more expensive than a used one. I have talked to my AD and they can get me one in a couple weeks for around 8800 out the door (I'm in California so I pay sales tax).Question for all you wise enthusiasts: Is it wise for me to buy? I have not followed Rolex trends so I am not sure if thi
Cellini Pricing - what's fair?
Happy New Year, everyone! So, I'm particularly fond of the rose gold, black lacquer Cellini - ref 50505 - but of course cannot stomach paying MSRP for it, which is around 15,000 USD. I've looked and looked and what I find online is somewhat bizarre. Essentially, everyone offering the piece for sale, be it gray market or pre-owned, wants something in the 9000-12000 USD range, but almost all the watch pricing aggregator sites swear that it's value is closer to 4000-8000 tops (NIB). I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out what's fair to offer to sellers...thoughts on this one?

Just want to know what I'm getting into before I get into it :). Any help is much appreciated! Thanks
