The Fr��d��rique Constant Classic Index GMT is just that: a solid, no-nonsense watch, powered by the FC-350 automatic calibre, offering 38 hours of power reserve, and an easy-to-read GMT function. Best place to buy a new 5712R for UK based peson?
Hi Guys,I would like to purchase a new 5712R but I'm not sure of the best place to source the watch at the best price?Happy to travel to collect it and would intend to pay via bank transfer.Is there a waiting list on this model at the moment? I've tried looking at local Patek ADs in the UK and I can't find this model in stock. This may be their lack of focus on Patek or perhaps because they are difficult to find.Just looking for the help on the experts on this forum to help me find the best way forward :)Thanks very much for reading!James

I'm a new member here and looking to purchase my first Rolex. I first saw the submariner on my dad's wrist as a kid and thought it was a cool watch. My dad purchased it in 1967 for less than $500 and still wears it to this day. He was a dive master so he used it for its intended purpose. I'm sure I'm missing a few complications and references. But here goes:1. Diving / water resistance: Sub, Sea-dweller (I realize this is not a complication per se)2. Chronograph: Daytona3. Dual time zones: GMT, Sky-dweller, Explorer 24. Moonphase: Cellini 5. Annual calendar: Sky-dweller6. Race timing countdown: YM27. Day and Date: Datejust DD8. Power Reserve: None yet that I know of

Log book?
Do you keep a service log book especially for those of us that have multiple Rolex’s? I realize if you send it to an RSC you get paperwork with it but some of us might choose to use one of the few very excellent and reputable independent watchmakers on this forum and not an RSC. I’m thinking about starting a simple log book, date purchased, dates serviced and what was done. So does anybody else do this?
