A Deadly AP....
Just an idea...Imagine, take two of the most desirable and rarest AP, the all black ceramic perpetual and the SS Skeleton double-balance wheel, and combine them. An all black ceramic Skeleton 41mm. Have a Datejust 116200 that I've worn for years, been wanting to add to it and now finally have the itch...Thinking the 26320 RG black strap, though the white pulls at me too... If you were putting 35-40k or so into 3 watches with the 26320 as the foundation, where do you go?

How long does it take to craft a Patek Philippe?
Just looking to educate myself on the actual brand of Patek Philippe, and how they assemble their watches etc, just to have an idea of how things work.I was asked by a friend why they were so expensive, and though I gave a fair explanation, I feel like I should know more about it, since I am looking to own one later this year! Gray Mkt
I'm still new so I apologize if there is a thread on this already....I was at an AD yesterday and the salesperson was basically telling me that, without me having a prior relationship with an AD, it was near impossible to get a Sea Dweller anytime in the next year or two. I mentioned to her that it seems I have no choice but to go to the gray mkt. She informed me to be careful, b/c she's had atleast two preferred clients that purchased from non-AD's and when they sent their watches to Rolex for service, Rolex said the watch had been stolen and sent back to the original buyer. Has anyone heard of this before? If so, how is it possible to get comfortable buying from the gray mkt unless the person you're buying from is the original owner?
