Rolex Now Offers 5-Year Warranty For All New Watches, Confirms 10-Year Service Intervals
Big news for those who have been considering the purchase of a new Rolex watch from an authorized retailer: Rolex has recently announced (and confirmed) that it will be offering a 5-year warranty to go with all watches sold, starting from July 1, 2015 from authorized dealers. If you have made a Rolex purchase sometime?during the last two years, i.e., between?July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2015, you are not missing out entirely on this highly noteworthy upgrade either: for watches sold during this period of time, Rolex provides 1 extra year of warranty free of charge, extending the original two?now to?a total of three years of the manufacturer's warranty. This is for all Oyster and Cellini family watches.Rolex?performed this upgrade in its peculiar "Rolex way," not making a big fuss about it C in fact, the announcement made it to retailers only,?and neither to the brand's marketing channels, nor directly to members of the press. And while we are waiting for?this information to be confirmed b
Hands-On: With The Cartier Tank Anglaise
The Cartier Tank is one of the most recognizable watch designs of all time. With the classic, linear design, the Tank never goes out of favor. Today I am going to review the Tank Anglaise, the latest addition to the Tank family, which is an updated version of the classic. 1 OF 8 2 OF 8 First, a little background on the Cartier Tank. The prototype for the Cartier Tank was designed during the First World War in 1917 by Louis Cartier, with the watch breaking onto the market in 1919. The industrial design was inspired by the horizontal section of the Renault tank. It is traditionally thought that, the prototype was given in 1918 to General John Joseph Pershing who was the commanding officer of the American Expeditionary Force in Europe. Sadly, the prototype has since disappeared, but I hope that one day it will come up at auction (seriously, how cool would that be?). 3 OF 8 4 OF 8 Over the past century, the Tank has evolved into many different form
Trying To Make A Decision
Hello EveryoneAs some might know, I originally was trying to decide between the Diver and 15400. Now I'm having trouble deciding between the Diver, Safari or Panda. I like them all equally for different reasons and keep looking at pictures, but they are all so nice. The 15400 is still in the picture, but I think i will save that for another time. Just wanted to take a poll to see what the general consensus is out there. Keep in mind this will be my first AP. Thanks in advance for your input.
New toy, Breitling Chronomat 41
