Substantial Damage Repair
Hello,Has anyone had any experience with having substantial damage repaired by Patek? Say, for example, a lug was hit extremely hard (enough to essentially chip the steel away) and I wanted Patek to repair it. What sort of cost and time frame shall I expect? I recall Chasseur has had some damage laser repaired but this is more than a scratch, this is a lug completely deformed. I would appreciate any insight. Luckily, I have the watch insured.
Another Incoming........but what??
It's become customary for me to tease a little before the big reveal. I am very excited about this one - not quite at Khalid's level, but it should prove to be a rare beast nonetheless.First clue: it's a PP.The reveal will be in the morning, I have it in hand, but it's the evening now and I have to rush out for dinner.........
Trade 425 or 557 for 233?
I currently own 2 base PAMs 425 and 557. Ive been thinking of adding some complication to my collection. Im considering of acquiring a 233 but have to let go of one. I just want your guidance and expert take on which watch to let go for a 233. Thanks again TRF for your support.
new 116710ln random serial; green AND blue lume?
Hello,This past Sunday, I purchased a new 116710ln with a random serial at a well known AD in Chicago. This was my first, new Rolex purchase. That night, I torched the dial expecting to see green lume all around. At first, I caught a glimpse of blue. Feeling excited, I glanced back at the dial and noticed that all of the hands were glowing green. But, the hour indices were clearly glowing blue. Now, I thought all GMT lume shifted to blue in ~2012-14, not just the hour indices. Is this normal?Tom

Yesterday I got a phone call.. Your green Submariner is here.. One month of waiting, declined BLNR, unlucky story with service at RSC of my Explorer.. and finally yes, this beauty in my hands. Love it! I will keep Explorer as my daily beater for office and LV probably will be my weekend watch..will see7CFC36EF-E343-405C-BF7D-2543156811DC.jpegEF47E570-4548-49A6-916E-4070678D4D71.jpeg
